Evaluating surveillance
mpi.govt.nz/mpi-surveillance-guideEpi-interactive created a web-based tool targeting awareness and providing high-level guidance to assist stakeholders in choosing the appropriate method(s) to conduct biosecurity surveillance in the animal, marine and plant environments. This project formed part of the Ministry’s surveillance strategy and the tool is used to support New Zealand’s government-industry collaboration.
We were additionally involved in the concept development and conducted interviews to identify key stakeholder needs. The tool was tested and validated post-development. To fully support mobile devices we recently migrated the tool to a fully responsive HTML5 version.
In collaboration with Prof. K. Stärk, SAFOSO.
