Christina has a strong interest in applied epidemiology and joined the team at Epi-interactive after completing her PhD in the faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary. Her epidemiology experience began in 2005 and has largely focused on molecular methods to investigate disease transmission in both animals and humans. She completed her MS degree in Food Safety from Colorado State University and has since expanded her expertise to include whole genome sequencing analysis and interpretation. After being based in our New Zealand office for over a year, she is now working remotely from Alaska and continues to regularly contribute to projects. When not working Christina can be found in the great outdoors.
